In April the Women’s HV Group received some funding from TNL Community Fund partly to help cover room hire but mainly so we can organise events.

We’ve now got our first 2 events up and ready, so please share with anyone you think might like to come along.

CREATIVE SESSION FOR WOMEN

In this session we will explore how to use 

words, letters and creative writing to create images. 

It will be a space to creatively express and communicate our experiences.

For some people getting creative is how they deal with stuff in life. For other people getting creative can feel daunting and intimidating and kick off all kinds of insecurities.

Our creative group session will be super laid back and non-judgemental. It’s a place to try things things out and play around, even if you don’t see yourself as creative. Just come as you are, hang out and see what happens.

WOMENS GROUP TRIP TO RHS BRIDGEWATER

The Womens HV Group is organising an autumnal trip to RHS Gardens Bridgewater. This will be for old, new and future members of the women’s group. So even if you’ve not attended the group you will be very welcome to join us on this trip.

The Womens Group will be able to cover entrance to the Gardens as well as some travel expenses and pay towards lunch, so please express your interest by booking on.

Once we know who is joining we will organise when and where to meet.

We will meet at the gardens around 10.45am to access the gardens together at 11am. We plan to finish up around 3.30pm but people can leave earlier if they want to and stay later too if they are not finished enjoying the gardens.

Some people might like to meet in Manchester and travel together and others might prefer to just meet at Bridgewater. If you prefer to travel as a group just let us know and we can plan it together.
