Medicinal Herb Walk

Join an immersive guided herb walk to learn about nature, plant medicine and how to integrate herbs into your daily life.

When: Tuesday 27th May, 11am to 1pm

Do you want to know about what plants around us can help your health? Are you unsure how to identify medicinal plants and want to know more? Come and join Maddy Taylor, medical herbalist, for a guided walk teaching you all about plants. This will include:

  • Plants and their medicinal properties
  • Names and identification
  • Historic use and folklore
  • Modern use as herbal medicine
  • How to use medicinal plants at home
  • and much more!

During the walk, we will do a tea meditation, a sensory experience helping you connect with a herb in a whole new way. The walk will be at a gentle pace walking predominately on paths.

About your guide: Maddy Taylor is a medical herbalist based in Todmorden. She sees people for one to one herbal consultations, holds herbal workshops and talks. She loves being out in nature, foraging herbs (sustainably) and passing on essential knowledge to others about the herbs around us. She holds a degree in Clinical herbalism and is registered with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
